Ivar E. Roth D.P.M./M.P.H.

Dr. Ivar E. Roth, DPM, MPH, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). He graduated from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine after earning his undergraduate degree from Cal State Fullerton. Dr. Roth completed a rigorous three-year residency in foot and ankle surgery under the guidance of renowned podiatric surgeon Dr. Lowell Weil at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. He also holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Illinois.

In practice since 1985, Dr. Roth was the first podiatric surgeon granted full surgical privileges at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. He is the founder and first president of the Orange County Chapter of the American Academy of Private Physicians (AAAP). A second-generation podiatrist born and raised in California, Dr. Roth knew from an early age that he was destined for a career in medicine. His greatest inspiration came from his favorite uncle, Dr. Harold “Chick” Weiner of Brooklyn, NY.
